Job Description
Due to the continued expansion of our business, we are seeking to recruit an ambitious individual to join our Financial Reporting and Tax Compliance team (Corporate Division) as a Qualified Accountant. The successful candidate will work as part of a growing team under the direction of senior management and will be expected to carry out a varied workload whilst facilitating ad hoc training and workflow management of our more junior team (Part Qualified ACA).

- Assist the Financial Reporting and Tax Compliance team with timely completion of client deliverables
- Prepare accounts work papers (from client source documents/TB/software) to include foreign exchange reconciliations, intercompany and inter-ledger reconciliations for individual and group entities, for final review by Senior Director
- Prepare and submit corporate and personal tax returns for both UK and Ireland
- Prepare and submit monthly PAYE for UK and Irish companies. Payroll reporting will include pensions reporting and BIK compliance obligations where relevant
- Prepare and submit VAT, Intrastat and VIES reports to relevant authorities
- Oversight of periodic bookkeeping client assignments and management accounts review
- Ensure compliance on RCT/CIS reporting for a select group of clients
- Prepare Statutory Financial Statements under the relevant reporting framework
- Maintain and manage client compliance requirements (CS01 and B1), supporting our company secretarial team and timely preparation of key compliance related documentation
- Ability to manage and co-ordinate relationships with banks, independent advisors and government authorities
- Experience with tax head registrations, agent link documentation and communication with authorities in relation to aspect enquiries
- Knowledge of the various government online applications (UK and Ireland) to support and manage client’s business affairs
- Manage client engagement and in scope service delivery to include billing and WIP management
- Ad-hoc project support where required

- Professional designation from one of the leading Accountancy bodies
- 5+ years of relevant experience, with dual experience of UK and Irish tax jurisdictions
